What Meta Muse is, and where it works
Meta launched Muse on 8 September 2026: a personal AI agent that runs errands, manages schedules and carries out multi-step tasks in an isolated virtual machine, and keeps working after you close the app. It runs on Meta's Muse Spark models (CNBC).
Muse launched in the US only, for adults, and Meta later listed it in Canada too (iPhone in Canada). The free tier needs a payment card and caps usage by weekly tokens; paid tiers are $20 (Power) and $100 (Maximum) a month for larger weekly allowances (Tech Insider).
Why people outside North America need an alternative
- Region lock. If you are in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, Africa or Latin America, you cannot sign up.
