Talk to Your AI Agent on WhatsApp: Send Tasks, Get the Work Back

WhatsApp now lets you make your own agents. Connect one to a No Nap AI Bot and you can hand over real work from the app you already open fifty times a day, then get the result back in the same chat.

Why WhatsApp

Most of us do not sit in front of a dashboard all day. We are on our phones, in WhatsApp. An AI agent that only lives in a browser tab waits for you to come back to it; an agent you can message is one you actually use. That is the idea behind talking to your Bots from WhatsApp: the same Bot, with the same cloud computer and the same memory, one message away.

What you can do

  • Send a task in plain words. “Compare the three cheapest flights to Dubai next Friday”, “Summarise this PDF”, “Find me five suppliers and their prices.”
  • Send files and voice notes. Photos, videos, documents and voice notes land on your Bot's computer, ready to work on.
  • Get the work back. Your Bot shows it is typing while it works, then sends its answer with any screenshots, PDFs or videos it made.
  • Approve with a number. In ask mode, anything your Bot cannot undo comes to you as a numbered question. Reply 1 and it carries on.
  • Run a team. Make up to five agents in WhatsApp and give each its own Bot: a researcher, a shopper, a writer.

How to connect WhatsApp to your Bot

  1. On your phone, open WhatsApp → Settings → Agents → Create an agent. Give it a name and a photo.
  2. Open the agent's chat, then Chat info → API key, and copy the key.
  3. In No Nap AI, open Settings → WhatsApp, paste the key and choose which Bot answers.
  4. Send your first message. Your Bot learns it is you, and only you can talk to it.

What happens behind the message

WhatsApp only carries the messages. The work happens on your Bot's own cloud computer, with a real browser, files and a terminal, which keeps running when your phone is locked. Every WhatsApp chat also appears in No Nap AI as a conversation, so you can start a task on your phone and check the details later on your laptop.

Good first tasks

  • Send a photo of a receipt and ask for it in a spreadsheet.
  • Forward a long voice note and ask for the three action points.
  • Ask for a daily summary of a website or a price, then make it a routine that runs every morning.
  • Ask your Bot to sign up for a tool with its own email address and send you the login.

Frequently asked questions

Can other people message my Bot on WhatsApp?

No. Only you can talk to the agents you connect. Your Bot learns who you are from your first message and ignores everyone else.

Does my phone need to stay on?

No. Your Bot works on its own cloud computer around the clock. WhatsApp just carries the messages.

How many WhatsApp agents can I connect?

Up to five, each answered by the Bot you choose. Change the Bot any time in Settings → WhatsApp, or send /bot in the chat.
